Nation in family and family in nation. The type of patriotic town family, example of Dr. Václav Staněk's family.

Diploma thesis deals with theme of family in Czech patriotic circles in the 19th century, example of family of Václav Staněk, Doctor of Medicine and patriot. Václav Staněk was a friend of Josef Frič and František Ladislav Čelakovský, their families were very close. While Fritč's and Čelakovský's families appear very often in different works about 19th century, Staněk's family was almost forgot. This thesis deals with public activities of the family, in the time before the revolution 1848 it's the Czech "salon" which was also one of the first platforms for women interested in education and during the revolution in 1848 - 1849 the engagement of Václav Staněk at parliament in Vienna and Kroměříž. Thorough attention is paid to the family connections among members of the family, especially to relationships between wife and husband and relationships among parents and children. The source is rich and yet not used correspondence of the family which allows insight to the political as well to the family business.

Relation of fruitfulness of reduction therapy in obese children to their personal and family history.

Obesity negatively affects quality of life of children and its high prevalence is a global problem. Obesity is a multifactorial disease, whose formation influence genetic and exogenous factors. Exogenous factors can act directly on obese individuals and can be defined by the markers of personal history, or may act within the family and then they are define by the markers of family history. The health risks associated with obesity are high and therefore you need to focus on the treatment of obesity in childhood. In childhood it is still possible to change unhealthy habits and lifestyle. The aim of this work is to describe the relationship of severity of obesity of obese children in the selected data from their personal and family history and analyze the success of reducing treatment of children in dependence selected aspects of their personal and family history. Monitored set includes 398 girls and 216 boys aged 6 to 18 years who were examined anthropometric at the beginning and in the end of the stay in the hospital, Dr. Philip in Poděbrady, and whose parents responded to the survey questions for parents of obese children. Data where colected between years 2000 and 2010. The following parameters were monitored: body weight, body height, BMI, skinfolds thickness, circumferential and width parameters...
The crisis of a present Czech family and effects of this crisis on the morality of children in younger school age

The bachelor thesis deals with the current family, defines its functions and describes its historical development. It focuses on the effects of the crisis of the contemporary family. This thesis describes morality and values and their role in a human life and factors affecting development of value systems, too. In the next part of the bachelor thesis, the most common manifestations of a risk behavior of children are mentioned. The last chapter is focuses on to finding relationship between contemporary family crisis and increased risk behavior of children. This thesis is based on a specially theoretical point of view of the scientific literature on this issue.

The life of the multigeneration family in Strakonicko and Písecko The thesis work is divided into two parts ? theoretical and empirical part. The first part is theoretical and is focused on family history, relationships among relatives in multigeneration family, division of work and free time. The thesis deals with advantages and disadvantages of the multigeneration family, the ideal of living these days and problems connected with it. The last chapter is about living of young people and differences between living in both the town or the county. The second part is the empirical part, which is based on interviews with members of multigeneration families. The purpose of the theses is to describe how the multigeneration families live nowdays both in the country or town and to evaluate relationships among members of multigeneration family, how is the living organized and the prediction of multigeneration living.
